Skin Care

Skin care treatments that go a bit further than at-home treatments can rejuvenate your skin, help you keep and maintain a radiant complexion and soften wrinkles and fine lines. A HydraFacial, VI Peel or a glycolic peel can improve your skin while eyebrow and lash tinting can polish your look and shorten your makeup routine.*

A leading name in the plastic surgery field, Dr. David Dellinger holds board certifications in both plastic/reconstructive and general surgery, and has more than two decades of experience performing surgical procedures and non-surgical cosmetic treatments. At Elysian Plastic Surgery, Dr. Dellinger works with men and women in Austin and throughout Texas who are interested in improving their appearance with non-surgical treatments.

Best Candidates for Skin Care Treatments

Skin care treatments can be right for almost anyone who wants to see smoother, softer skin and a fewer wrinkles and fine lines. You may see good results from a skin care treatment at any stage in your life and ongoing treatments may help you enjoy improved skin for many years.*

Eyebrow and lash tinting may be right for men and women who wish that their eyebrows and lashes were darker or lighter.

What to Expect

At your consultation, Dr. Dellinger and his staff will assess your skin and recommend which skin care treatment may help you see the best results.

HydraFacial

The HydraFacial is a three-step facial designed to clean and hydrate your skin. Your procedure will start with cleansing and a peel to gently exfoliate and resurface your skin to reveal a new layer of skin. Debris in your pores is then removed with suction and heavy moisturizers, antioxidants and peptides are applied to hydrate your skin. Your treatment may take about 30 minutes. You should see an improvement in skin tone and texture after one treatment. Monthly treatments may help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and brown spots and may help improve oily or congested skin.*

VI Peel

VI Peel offers a variety of chemical peels to improve sun spots and pigmented skin, aging skin, acne-prone skin and acne scars and skin damage. A chemical peel can improve acne scars, soften wrinkles and fine lines, smooth rough skin, treat uneven pigmentation, lessen the effects of sun damage and create a more even skin tone. VI Peels use an acid to remove the top layers of skin that have been damaged.*

Glycolic Peel

A glycolic peel is another type of chemical peel. Glycolic acid penetrates the skin to help exfoliate the outer layer of rough, dry skin to reveal a new layer of smoother skin. A glycolic peel may improve acne, fine lines, wrinkles and oiliness.*

Brow and Lash Tinting

Eyebrow and lash tinting can be done with custom-blended colors to darken light hair and lighten dark brows that may give you a harsh look. The dye will be applied to your lashes and brows, then wiped off after several minutes. The dye shouldn’t stain your skin and your appointment should only take about 30 minutes.*

Your Skin Care Recovery & Results

You should be able to get back to your routine and apply makeup immediately after a HydraFacial, light chemical peel or brow and lash tinting. However, after a chemical peel, you may notice some redness, irritation or stinging and your skin may need some time to recover.*

Results will vary, depending on which treatment you had scheduled, but may be improved with repeat treatments.*
